World Philanthropy Group (WPG) is a international community that encourages and enables individuals, groups and municipalities to make our world a better place. This blueprint for change is achieves in various ways and especially by contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. WPG works to raise awareness, encourage global vision, facilitate collaboration and foster community. WPG uses strategic media partnerships, projects, events, political networking and community outreach programs to achieve its mission. Our World, Our Beliefs

We believe that every individual, however rich or poor, strong or weak, influential or otherwise, has an important contribution to make towards a more peaceful and sustainable world.

Today significant numbers of people around the world feel forgotten, disenfranchised and disempowered, frequently asking, “what about us?” Many people also feel that they have no ability to participate in positive activities that make their communities a better place. In several instances, there are examples of people who want to do good for their society but they may not know the best way to proceed in a positive way working in harmony with existing structures. Our Mission

Therefore it is important to assist individuals who are passionate about building a positive future to do so in a positive way. It is also particularly important to include disadvantaged people; those who would otherwise have limited or no ways to contribute to improving their communities and to improving the world. Addressing these issues strengthens societies by creating a positive climate of trust and collaboration. This positivity is an asset for societies today and also in the future. World Philanthropy Group’s (WPG) mission is to encourage and to enable people from all walks of life to contribute to making the world a better place. WPG’s activities support the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. Specifically WPG’s activities are built on four pillars:

The world is changing fast and it is important that individuals are empowered in what our societies look like in the future. To guarantee this, WPG’s activities are for the people and by the people.We believe that “ordinary” people are capable of “extraordinary” things when we work together. The work of this global community is facilitated by World Philanthropy Group, an independent not-for-profit organisation based in Geneva, Switzerland. WPG is not a political or religious organisation.
